What this page covers
This policy describes what Layton Utah French Drain collects through this website, what happens to it, and how to have it removed. It is written against what the site actually does rather than against a template.
What the form collects
The property address, your name, your phone number and your email address. The form asks for the address first and checks that a contractor covers it before asking for anything else. Two optional questions follow — what you are seeing, and what you think you need.
Alongside those it records which page you submitted from, which property you were on, the wording of the consent statement you were shown and the moment you sent it, the location Google returned for the address, and how far that is from Layton. That is the whole record.
If your address is outside the area this site covers, none of it is stored. We keep only the postal code, the town, and the distance — no street address, no name, no phone number and no email — so that we can see where requests are coming from that nobody covers yet.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission came from a person rather than a script. Cloudflare receives the information it needs to make that check, under its own terms.
What we do with it
Your details are passed to a drainage contractor who works in Layton, so that they can contact you about the work.
We do not sell your details, rent them, or pass them to a second firm.
Contact you consent to, and how to stop it
By sending the form you consent to being contacted about your request — by the contractor it is routed to, and by Layton Utah French Drain — including by phone, text, automated or prerecorded call, and email. That consent is not a condition of buying anything.
You can withdraw it at any time, and we will act on that rather than argue about it. Use the contact page, or reply STOP to a text, or tell whoever calls. Withdrawing consent stops contact from us; the contractor is a separate business and you may need to tell them directly as well.
Analytics and tracking
We hold no analytics account and receive no behavioural data about you. Four third parties are nonetheless present on this site, and they are worth naming.
Cloudflare Turnstile, the bot check on the form, loads from Cloudflare and sets its own cookies in its own context — including Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies that belong to Cloudflare, not to us. The address box on the form uses Google’s Maps and Places service to suggest addresses as you type: what you type into that box goes to Google, which loads from maps.googleapis.com, maps.gstatic.com, maps.google.com, www.google.com and Google’s font hosts, and Google may set cookies of its own. You can type the address in full and submit without picking a suggestion. The county map is an embedded Google Map, and Google may set cookies of its own when it loads. Cloudflare serves this site, keeps standard server logs, and adds a page-timing script that reports back to Cloudflare.
None of the four reports to us. Beyond them this site carries no advertising pixel and no marketing tag of ours.
Keeping and removing it
A submission is kept only as long as it is useful for the request it belongs to. The record of what you consented to is kept for as long as we may need to show what you were told, which is longer — it exists to protect you as much as us.
To have a submission removed, use the contact page and include the address you sent and roughly when you sent it — that is enough to find it.
Changes
If what the form collects changes, this page changes with it. A policy describing a form that no longer exists is worse than no policy.
